Pizza 3D Movie

Frankly, I am not a horror story buff. Pizza 3D, horror movie doesn't seem to have made a mark. A low budget flick without established stars of the Bollywood, coupled with a really messy plot doesn't serve the purpose. One has to be seated for about 2 hours to watch the whole story.

The UTV spot boy did not go into a publicity blitz for Akshay Akkineni's directorial debut Pizza 3D. The film is definitely interesting, but it is not astounding.

A not so confusing plot and above average acting skills of the hero and the heroine makes the film of average quality. Performance by Akshay Oberoi makes this horror flick worth a one-time watch.

Pizza 3D Movie

A plus point is that as a the horror film it sans any sleaze and comes as a welcome change from horrex (an unholy marriage of horror and hot genre) films that we have been seeing of late. The story does get a little unbelievable.

As for performances, Oberoi carries off the part of a person who doesn't give a damn with aplomb. So does his boss, played by Rajesh Sharma. Parvathy seems to have somewhat, failed to match the co-stars in terms of performance. Her accent is too forced and she comes across as someone who's trying hard to fit into the role.

So on the whole, despite trying hard to entertain the masses, Pizza 3D fails in doing so.
