Usha Uthup croons for Kangana Ranaut

Director Sai Kabir's Revolver Rani will see Usha Uthup lending her voice to Kangana Ranaut for the first time. The movie, presented by Ponty Chadha's Wave Cinemas, also has songs rendered by Asha Bhosle, Rekha Bhardwaj and Piyush Mishra.

While Usha has sung the title track, Asha's is a romantic number, Kaafi Nahin Chaand. Rekha has rendered Banna Banni, and Piyush has three songs in the movie to his credit — Chal Lade Re Bhaiyya, Chanda Ki Katori Hai and Thaayein Kare Katta.

Other singers on board are Avi Dutta, Garima Aneja, Anwesha and music director Sanjeev Shrivastav. One of the tracks, Pehle Lohi Ki Chingari, has Sameera, Keka, Manjeera and Gorisha singing in chorus.

Says Kabir, "Sanjeev has got the music right with songs that are fresh. All the songs have got a positive response. The audience has loved Kangana's quirky avatar, while Vir Das' dark side has taken them by surprise."
